Raymond McKay

I was an educator in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District for over 32 years, most of which teaching fifth grade.  I was the Head Teacher in several buildings and once coordinated long range planning for the district.  I was president of the Unionville-Chadds Ford Education Association and chief negotiator numerous times.  I was road master of Pocopson Township and served on the Planning Commission and West Chester Regional Planning Commission.  Currently, I am a candidate for Township Supervisor.  After my retirement, I have worked in funeral services for 22 years.  I have been involved in community activities for over 55 years and have served as president of several organizations such as Kennett Square Lions Club, and the Unionville Community Fair.  Presently I am treasurer of the Kennett Lions Club and on the Board of the James “Bing” Miller Charitable Foundation (Lions affiliated).
