WHO WE ARE
Camp Dreamcatcher has been providing free therapeutic and educational programs for HIV/AIDS infected and/or affected youth for over 20 years. We offer a safe, accepting and loving community for children coping with HIV/AIDS.
OUR IMPACT
- Total Number of individual HIV/AIDS Impacted Youth served in 25 years: 5,800
- Camp Dreamcatcher has provided 26 camp sessions and 32 weekend retreats to children and families coping with HIV/AIDS
- Provided 33 Reunion Events for HIV/AIDS impacted children and their families
- 1,100 children have been served through our holiday Adopt-a-Family Program
- 1,200 counselors have attended our HIV/AIDS & Diversity Training
- Provided HIV/AIDS Outreach & Education to 500 Schools and Community Groups
- HIV/AIDS Outreach & Education programs have reached 20,000 people
- Total number of VOLUNTEER HOURS since 1996: 240,800
