Restorative Practice Training

Restorative Practice Trainings

WHY DO THIS TRAINING?

Restorative Practices can be implemented in any organization and can be easily applied to all environmental settings. We saw incredible results in implementing RP in our own organization among children and adults.

We are so passionate about RP that we’ve become Certified Trainers to help other organizations reap the benefits.

UNDERLYING PREMISE

“The underlying premise of restorative practices is that people are happier, more cooperative, more productive and more likely to make positive changes when those in positions of authority do things WITH them rather than TO them or FOR them.” (Ted Watchel, IIRP)

RESTORATIVE PRACTICES

are based on principles and processes that emphasize the importance of trusting relationships as central to building community and repairs/restores relationships when harm has occurred.

THIS APPROACH

views behavior infractions as an offense against individuals and the greater community, and places greater emphasis on the harm caused and reparation of relationships/community above the need for assigning blame and dispensing punishment.
